Burglary Warning in South Metro | Crime

Law enforcement is investigating a string of burglaries throughout the south metro. They believe the same man is behind the burglaries in the following communities: Prior Lake, Bloomington, Eden Prairie & Edina.

Officers said the man rings the doorbell then kicks open the front door. This usually happens between 7:00am and 4:30pm. Once the burglar gets inside police say he pulls his vehicle into the garage. Police have not yet been able to catch up with the man.

The burglar is described as:

Black Male, medium height, medium to thin build

30-40 years of age

Typically wears dark clothing and gloves

May be driving a 1990's dark colored Chevy Cavalier with Ohio plates
